Supervision for Clinicians in Training
Weekly clinical supervision is a requirement for licensure, but professional and emotional development is essential at any stage of a therapist's career. I have found so much value in the reflection and support from other therapists with different skills and different perspectives. Our work can be isolating at times and clinical supervision offers connection.
I provide weekly, hourly supervision for Associate Social Workers and Associate Marriage and Family Therapists who are currently accruing hours toward their license in a private practice setting, group practice or agency. I also provide supervision for licensed therapists looking to build new skills, start a private practice or develop a speciality.
I provide a non-judgmental, supportive place to process clinical issues including, but not limited to: diagnosing practice and skills, treatment planning, the education and utilization of different therapeutic modalities, managing transference and countertransference, and business skills associated with private practice. I can provide group supervision as space and time allows.
Supervision is offered in-person or via tele-medicine and references can be provided upon request.
